beauty queen

OK, so I may joke about pretty poo, but really I'm quite a sucker for beauty. I took a group of EFL students along a short city walk this evening - Aldwych, Fleet Street, St Paul's and over the Thames on the Millennium Bridge. And it took my breath away. At night! It's such a stunning city, it really is, and the closer you look, the more rewards you reap. We popped into Bank (the old Bank of England, now a Fuller's pub) and it is stunning. Wow.



I resolve, then, to spend more time really LOOKING at this wonderful place. And maybe I can give up the chocolate resolution ...
